God, what a week. Worst short week ever. Work was a proper pain in the ass, all manner of fires to put out, including a real Rookie Special, courtesy of your Humble Narrator. I just...like many people must, feel like this is no way to live in what, ostensibly, is the Land of Plenty. Plenty of What? Stress? Fees and surcharges? Carcinogens? Plenty of Light Sweet Crude. Tonight; plenty of red wine, plenty of soap and hot water and plenty of sleep.
