I had to drive ~200 miles round trip from Long Beach to SD/Point Loma because I dropped a flash unit out of my bag at a live karaoke gig I played last week. I called the bar before I drove down, and the guy answering the phone hung up on me after I asked if the flash was still there. I was in a state, driving through the night, and running all manner of confrontation scenarios centered around not getting my flash back. I was lucky. They had it, returned it with a smile, and I was on my dumbass way. Double check your loadout before you leave a venue...but if you have to backtrack to clean up a mistake, make the most of the trip.
